➼ Screening: Every person who enters the Royal Women’s Hospital Building will be required to complete a health questionnaire and present to the screening desk. Please give yourselves a few extra minutes to get through screening when you arrive at the hospital for your WOGS appointment.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

➼ All maternity patients and their support person must have an asymptomatic COVID-19 swab test at 37 weeks and then weekly until delivery. Patients and partners/support people can get their tests at any COVID testing centre. (Frances Perry House does not offer pre-admission COVID swabs).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

➼ Labour and Birth: One (1) partner/primary support person may be with a woman during labour and birth with no time limit. After a birth, the partner/support person can stay with their partner for the duration of their hospital stay. No children are permitted to visit.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

➼ Special Care Nursery: Two (2) parents or guardians are welcome to visit with no time limit. No children are permitted to visit.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

➼ Elective Caesareans and booked inductions: All patients who are having an elective Caesarean or booked induction, and their partner/support person, are required to provide evidence of a negative COVID-19 test conducted within 72 hours prior to admission and then isolate until admission. All antenatal patients will have an asymptomatic COVID-19 swab taken on admission.⠀⠀⠀
➼ Outpatient appointments and imaging/diagnostic appointments: Patients must attend appointments alone. Partners are very welcome to Facetime into appointments.

➼ Children: No children are permitted to visit. Babies aged 12 months or younger may accompany their mother in Frances Perry House, provided that both pass screening.⠀
