Frances Perry House and The Women’s have updated their visitor guidelines. The full visitor guidelines can be found at thewomens.org.au/COVIDinfo

Birth Suite: Two (2) support people may be with a woman during labour and birth with no time limit (this includes the woman’s partner).

Maternity wards: Two (2) people (adults or children) per bed at any one time. Visiting hours are 2pm-8pm.

Newborn Intensive Care Unit and Special Care Nursery: Parents or guardians are welcome together at any time. Two (2) people per cot at any one time. Maximum of 5 visitors (including parents/guardians) per day. Visiting hours are 2pm-8pm.

Outpatient appointments and imaging/diagnostic appointments: One (1) partner or designated support person can accompany a patient to their clinic or imaging appointment.

Children who are dependents of a patient or a permitted visitor may only attend Frances Perry House with the patient/visitor if it is not possible to find alternative care during the period of the visit.

Babies aged 12 months or younger may accompany their parent in Frances Perry House.

All visitors must wear a single use surgical face mask.
