Our highly experienced gynaecologists care for women with a wide range of gynaecological conditions. These include those relating to abnormal menstrual bleeding, painful periods and endometriosis, ovarian cysts, polycystic ovarian syndrome, fibroids, pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence. We are also available for consultations on contraception, fertility issues or menopausal symptoms.
We also perform a range of in-office gynaecological procedures, including cervical screening tests and insertions of intrauterine devices such as Mirena. Our procedure room is fully equipped and our nurses are able to support you through these procedures.
At WOGS, we understand the sensitive nature of women’s health and always strive to ensure our patients are made to feel comfortable and supported through their consultations.
Our team perform a large range of gynaecological operations under anaesthetic. These include procedures such as hysteroscopies or curettes, to more major gynaecological procedures such as hysterectomies. We have experience in minimally invasive gynaecology (laparoscopies) and pelvic floor surgery and organise our referrals to ensure that you are booked to see a specialist gynaecologist with experience appropriate to your individual case.
All of our private gynaecological operations are performed at Frances Perry House. Private health insurance is required for operations undertaken at Frances Perry House.
