Due to the current stay-at-home restrictions, Frances Perry House has changed its visitor guidelines.
  • Newborn Intensive Care Unit and Special Care Nursery: a maximum of two parents or guardians can visit together at any time. No other visitors are allowed except in special circumstances (in which case prior visiting permission must be obtained from Frances Perry House staff).
  • Birth Centre: a maximum of two support people (this includes the patient’s partner) can accompany a patient during labour and birth, with no time limit.
  • Maternity wards: a maximum of two people can visit a patient each day. This includes the patient’s partner or designated support person, who can visit outside visiting hours (2pm-8pm).
  • Outpatient appointments and imaging/diagnostic appointments: one partner or designated support person may accompany a patient to their clinic or imaging appointment.
  • Children who are dependents of a patient or a permitted visitor may attend Frances Perry House with the patient/visitor if it is not possible to find alternative care during the period of the visit. Babies aged 12 months or younger may accompany their mother in Frances Perry House.
  • All visitors must wear a single use surgical face mask.
We will update you as soon as these visitor guidelines change, and we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding. WOGS remain committed to doing everything we can to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our patients, their families and our own staff.
