Dr Khai Mohamed-Noor is one of the founding members of the highly regarded Women’s Obstetrics & Gynaecology Specialists (www.womensogs.com.au) – affectionately known as WOGS. She works alongside Dr Jenny Dowd, Dr Kym Jansen, Dr Renee Wong and Dr Pip Costley in the provision of the highest quality specialist obstetric and gynaecological care.

Dr Khai has more than three decades of experience in all aspects of obstetrics. After completing her medical studies at Monash University, she pursued her passion for obstetrics and gynaecology at The Royal Women’s Hospital.

Dr Khai consults from her rooms in the private consulting suites on the second floor of The Royal Women’s Hospital and delivers exclusively at Frances Perry House. She manages all aspects of obstetrics, including pre-pregnancy counselling, recurrent miscarriage, twins, pre-term births and pregnancies in women with pre-existing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and inflammatory bowel disease.

A caring and compassionate person, nothing gives Dr Khai more pleasure than seeing the faces of parents when they meet their baby for the first time.

Dr Khai is also an accomplished gynaecologist, managing women’s health issues from adolescence to beyond menopause. She is surgically skilled in laparoscopic (key-hole) procedures, endometrial ablations, management of fibroids and vaginal procedures. Dr Khai is a consultant gynaecologist in the Pelvic Floor Unit at The Women’s.

Dr Khai played a crucial role in setting up the African Women’s Clinic at the Royal Women’s Hospital. She is the Medical Team Leader at the clinic, which manages women affected by female genital mutilation and cutting.

Deeply committed to teaching and mentoring the next generation of specialists, Dr Khai is a keen examiner of medical students and general practitioners undertaking obstetric training.  She has joined medical teams visiting Mongolia to support and educate specialists there in learning new laparoscopic surgical techniques in gynaecology.

During her free time, Dr Khai enjoys her footy (GO SAINTS!), building LEGO, playing golf, travelling and hanging out with her teenage son.

A founding member of the Women’s Obstetric & Gynaecology Specialists, Khai completed her medical studies at Monash University. She then pursued her passion for obstetrics and gynaecology at The Royal Women’s Hospital, enhancing her experience by working in neonatal intensive care and with the Neonatal Emergency Transport Service.

Khai is also a Consultant Gynaecologist at the Royal Women’s Hospital, where she provides medical support to the African Women’s Clinic. She was invited to serve as a medical expert on the Safer Care Victoria committee and is involved in teaching the next generation of specialists, both as a teacher and examiner. She has also joined medical teams visiting Mongolia to support and educate specialists there.

Khai enjoys establishing rapport with her patients and their families while providing expert obstetric care throughout pregnancy.

Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her teenage son, watching footy, building Lego, playing golf and travelling.
